I. Scope and website operator

This website is operated by 美利威瑟(温州)工业科技有限责任公司. This notice covers product browsing, inquiries, accounts, order communications and any enabled commenting services on this website.

We process service-related information for clear, reasonable purposes and limit processing to what is necessary for those purposes. We process information needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, or to meet legal obligations, under the relevant legal provisions. Where processing requires consent, we will obtain it as required by law. Reading this notice or browsing the website does not constitute consent to unrelated uses.

II. What we collect and how we use it

Product inquiries and selection support

The inquiry form currently requires a contact name, phone number, email address and requirements, together with the products and quantities in your quote list. Company name, requested lead time and WeChat ID are optional. We use this information to clarify your requirements, contact you, discuss product selection and pricing, and send inquiry acknowledgements. You cannot submit this form without the required fields, but you can still browse products or contact us by phone.

Provide only information relevant to your requirements. Do not include unrelated sensitive information, such as identity document numbers, bank card numbers, or email or account passwords, in your description. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to promotional emails.

Accounts, transactions and services

When you register or log in, we process your email address, authentication information and any profile details you provide for account management, login verification and password recovery. If a purchase and delivery are subsequently confirmed, we process recipient details, phone numbers, delivery addresses, orders and communication records as needed for fulfillment, dispatch and after-sales communication. Invoicing details are collected only as needed when you request an invoice.

Comments, visits and security records

When you leave a comment on a page where comments are enabled, we process the name, email address and comment you submit, together with your IP address and browser information, to display and manage comments and detect unusual submissions. Once approved and published, your name and comment can be viewed by other visitors; your email address is not displayed as part of the comment. Please do not include private contact details or other people’s personal information in public comments.

Website operations and security maintenance may also generate records of visit times, pages viewed, IP addresses, browser details and device information. Quote submissions use short-term submission records and hashes of email addresses and session identifiers to check for duplicates and submission frequency, helping reduce accidental submissions and abuse.

III. Cookies and website services

Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. This website currently uses the following types of cookies or similar session technologies:

• Language preference: When you first visit public content, we use the language setting sent by your browser to offer Simplified Chinese or English. You can switch at any time. After a manual choice, the first-party cookie mrv_lang remembers your choice for 180 days. This feature does not use IP geolocation or send page content or visitor data to a third-party translation service. Clearing this cookie restores browser-based language selection.
• Functions and sessions: These identify guest inquiry lists, login status, cart or wishlist actions, and remember recently viewed products and display settings. Guest inquiry identifiers and some browsing records last for the session; login retention depends on choices such as “Remember me.”
• Page and theme settings: woostify_settings_version identifies the version of theme settings and is stored for one year by default; total_page is used by the theme component to record pagination information and is stored for two hours by default.
• Traffic source analysis: The website currently uses WooCommerce order attribution. First-party cookies prefixed with sbjs_ record referring pages, campaign parameters, landing pages, session times, page views and browser information to understand visitor sources. When you register or place an order, this attribution information may be saved with your account or order. The session cookie sbjs_session lasts approximately 30 minutes by default. Other related cookies follow the browser's actual session settings.
• Remembering comment details: Corresponding cookies are used only if you choose to save your name, email and other details in the comment form for your next visit. They are retained for approximately one year by default.

You can view, delete or restrict cookies in your browser settings. Restricting functional cookies may affect quote lists, login, wishlists and other features. Deleting browser cookies does not delete quote requests, account details or order information already submitted and stored in our systems. You may contact us as described in this notice to request action on those records.

IV. Service providers and external resources

Inquiry notifications and email: Inquiry information is stored in the website backend. Tencent Exmail is used to send sales notifications, customer acknowledgements and related business emails. These emails contain the contact details, products and requirements needed to handle the inquiry. Our sales and service staff process this information according to their responsibilities.

Delivery and other business services: Once dispatch is confirmed, we provide the actual carrier with the recipient name, phone number and address necessary for delivery. The carrier will be identified with your order's delivery arrangements. We may also provide relevant information when required by law.

Fonts, icons and images: Some pages currently load fonts or icons from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and Font Awesome (ka-f.fontawesome.com). Some article images come from Woostify (demo.woostify.com). When loading these resources, your browser connects directly to the relevant service and sends your IP address, browser details and potentially the referring page. These services may process connection information outside China. External websites and services process the data they receive under their own privacy policies.

Avatar display is currently enabled on this website. When displaying avatars for comments and similar features, a hash of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to retrieve an avatar. External links take you to third-party pages; please also review their privacy notices. We do not sell your personal information. For processing beyond the original purpose, disclosure requiring separate consent by law, or cross-border processing, we will provide further notice and obtain the required consent in accordance with applicable requirements.

5. Retention and protection

We retain information for the shortest period necessary for its purpose. Inquiry and communication records are kept while handling requests and for reasonable follow-up; account information is kept while the account is active and needed for the service. Order, delivery and after-sales records for completed transactions are retained as required for performance of the contract, dispute resolution and applicable law. When the purpose has been fulfilled and retention is no longer necessary, information is deleted or anonymized.

Public comments and associated names, email addresses, IP addresses and browser records are retained for as long as necessary to display and moderate comments or lawfully resolve disputes. You may request deletion of comments and related information. After a comment is removed, related records that are no longer needed and have no other lawful retention basis will be cleared.

Information may be stored in the website administration system, business email accounts and necessary backups. We review and process deletion requests across these storage locations. Information that must still be retained by law will be restricted to necessary retention and protection purposes. Browser cookie retention differs from the retention of business records in our systems.

We protect information through account permissions, access controls and necessary maintenance, limiting access according to work responsibilities. If a personal information security incident occurs, we will take remedial measures and provide the required notifications in accordance with the law.

6. Your choices and rights

You may contact us to request access to, copies of, corrections or additions to, or deletion of your personal information; to close your account; to withdraw consent-based authorization; or to raise questions and complaints about data processing. You can also log in to edit any account details that are available for you to change.

Please explain your request using the email address or phone number below. Where possible, provide the email address used for your inquiry or registration, the relevant inquiry number or other necessary information. To prevent unauthorized access to your information, we may verify your identity in a way appropriate to your request. We will not ask you to email your account or email password.

We will review your request promptly and communicate the outcome. If applicable law prevents immediate deletion or fulfillment of part of a request, we will explain why. Withdrawing consent does not affect the validity of processing before withdrawal or obligations that must continue by law. If the information is necessary for a service, deleting it or withdrawing consent may prevent us from continuing that service.

VII. Information about minors

Product inquiries on this website are primarily intended for adults with purchasing and product selection needs. Minors should use the site under a guardian's guidance. Users under 14 should have a guardian contact us on their behalf. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 14 without guardian consent, we will investigate and delete it or take appropriate action as required by law.

8. Updates to this notice

We will update this notice and its date when the information collected, purposes, service providers or relevant features change. Changes that materially affect your rights will be communicated through a page notice or another appropriate method. Where renewed consent is required by law, we will obtain it separately.
